Stem cell therapy for hair-loss is a new hair-loss treatment in which stem cells and growth factor are injected into the scalp to enriched and regenerate cells to restore follicles and natural hair-growth. Although there’s different claims as to the effectiveness of this treatment, our goal at TJ Hair Clinic will be to provide solid proof for patients that are considering stem cell therapy for hair-loss in Mexico.
The Platelet-Rich Plasma or PRP injection therapy is an FDA approved procedure, meaning it has been tested to maintain high success rates at low risk, it’s also approved by international standards and practiced successfully around the world.
The best results can be seen after 3 months of therapy; however, this varies greatly from patient to patient based on severity of the case and regularity of treatment sessions recommended by the medical team.
Proven studies have shown that Platelet-Rich Plasma or PRP injection therapy helps improve hair density, thickness, nourish damaged hair, stop hair-loss and improved the cosmetic appearance of the hair.

Each session takes approximately 30 to 45 minutes. Sessions are normally 30 days apart depending on the medical recommendation, and the amount of sessions are determined by the severity of the case and the expected results.
